Every year we ask you to photograph what you bought from us, out where it lives now. Winners take home gift certificates in every category, and their photographs go up on this site.

WHAT IT IS
A Photo Contest For Our Customers
Pottery in the Wild runs alongside our anniversary party each year. You send us a photograph of Pottery House pieces in place at your home, we pick winners in five categories, and we announce them at the party.
Our staff does the judging, which means we look at the photograph as much as the pot: composition, light, how the piece sits in its setting. Some of our favourite winners have been the simplest ones.
Five To Choose From
CATEGORIES
Indoors
Pots styled inside the house. Windowsills, shelves, plant walls, a jade in a bonsai pot.
Outdoors
Planters and urns at work in a yard, patio or garden bed. The wider the setting, the better.
Ceramic Water Features
Fountains and self-contained water bowls. Bonus points if you catch a bird using it.
Garden Art
Glass and steel totems, metal suns, garden stakes, wreaths. Anything that is not a planter.
Front Door
Entryways, porches and garage settings. Colour against the house is what makes these work.

All prizes are Pottery House gift certificates, awarded in each of the five categories. We also pick honourable mentions each year. Those do not carry a prize, but they do go up on the winners page.
RULES
Four Of Them
Your photo must feature items purchased from Pottery House.
You have to have taken the photograph yourself.
One submission per category, per person.
Submitting a photo grants Pottery House the right to use it.
HOW TO ENTER
Email Us Your Photo
Send your photograph to info@pottery.house with your name and the category you are entering. That is the whole process. No form, no account, no fee.
