Water Feature Category 2024
Water Feature Category First Prize: Celeste Kirk purchased a large hand-carved Buddha Fountain from us last year and this water feature became the center of her “re-landscape” of her front yard. Great job Celeste!
Water Feature Category Second Prize: Katy Meyers (Bishop) purchased this double set of ‘Origins’ water fountains and had a very specific idea of what she wanted in her design and the outcome. Katy we think you hit it ‘outta’ the park. Stellar!
Water Feature Category Third Prize: John Grant had a difficult corner of his house to beautify and create a beautiful landscape. His water feature is perfectly in proportion with the landscape. Hope you enjoy listening to your water while you lounge John!
Garden Art Category 2024
First Prize Garden Art: Trish Pitzerak fell in love with this turquoise glass and steel totem made by Z Glass Ac and had to have it for this corner of her yard. The back lighting, the orientation looking up from a lower angle and the colors really separated this excellent photo composition from the rest.
Second Prize Garden Art: Doug Hillman obviously loves his garden and taking pictures. This shot just makes us want to sit out there with a beverage and enjoy the striking blue sky, the happy sunflowers and the perfect welcoming metal sun and glass garden stakes he found at our shop.
Third Prize Garden Art: Brian Russell took this adorable picture of his granddaughter with one of the wreaths from Feather and Flower Designs. Framed by the beautiful wreath and with the landscape in the background we couldn’t resist making this one a winner!
Interior Category 2024
Interior Category First Prize: Megan Marten snapped this “American Gothic” pose of her father Mike, with his new found Talavera and Concrete pottery treasures. We just thought it too classic not to be a winner!
Interior Category Second Prize: Lynn and Andrea Boes submitted this nice Jade plant in one of our Bonsai Style Retro pots. Simple and well sized, elegant. Good use of the plant and pottery.
Interior Category Third Prize: Nancy Hinnen placed these three white Mid-Century Modern textured pots, with very happy pothos, in her living room shelves and created a very nice composition.

Pottery House Friends and Fans Celebrating our 4th Anniversary November 2, 2024 when we announced the Photo Contest Winners. THANK YOU!

“Pottery in the Wild” Photo Contest 2025.
Give us your Best Shot!
For the third year, Pottery House has sponsored the “Pottery in the Wild” Photo Contest as part of our yearly Anniversary Event. Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us and used their creativity in such imaginative ways. As always our products and your designs.
We partied in 2025 with live music from “Double Wide”
“Double wide” is a husband and wife duo, Rick and Sue Moore from Sisters Oregon. Sue plays the guitar, bass and fiddle — Rick plays the mandola, guitar and mondolin. They weave their original music and cover tunes together with lots of traditional and soulful harmonies and darn good pickin.
This year we had live music at Pottery House for our Anniversary and Fan Club Party when we announced the Photo Contest Contest Winners. The Amazing duo “Double Wide” ( Rick and Sue Moore from Sisters) played for our celebration. The front porch makes a fabulous stage, so we will bring them back in the spring when we unpack all our new pottery and have a Spring Fling Celebration.

Garden Art Category 2025
First Prize Garden Art Category:
Doug Hillman. Doug has taken the time to set up some great pictures from his property with some of the many planters and garden art purchased from Pottery House. He has a great sense of proportion, color and timing
Second Prize Garden Art Category :
Staff had to chide Cindy into submitting a picture when we helped her pick out this lazer cut rolled steel screen from our new collection. Cindy Alvarez has created a tasteful design that we are certain gives her peace.
Third Prize Garden Art Category:
Diane Brown has been a consistent customer who travels from the Willamette valley and during her vacations in Bend always makes an effort to stop by our shop for something new. Her artistic design did not disappoint. Duck Duck Goose?
Landscape Category 2025
Landscape Category First Prize: Marcia Hart did a lovely job photgraphing this arrangement in our Baja Moss Green heritage pot on a rustic iron stand. The distinction and clarity, the depth of field and focus and color tone is excellent. Great entry.
Landscape Category Second Prize: Margaret Hillman There are some great filters on new phones! This was taken with a cell phone! Great shot of fun garden art items from our Mexican Televara Collection and inside of our LeBeau barclay glazed falling aqua pot.
Landscape Category Third Prize: Jeff Fisher at Fishingham Gardens. We have visited these wonderful gardens on our trips to Portland and are touched that Jeff shopped here at Pottery House. That chartreuse pot with the orange and japanese forest grass is striking
Water Feature Category 2025
Water Feature Category First Prize: Jean Hayes has managed to catch the water bubbling and a cute finch bathing at her self contained water fountain in red with silver drip glazing. Makes it all worth the effort when you can provide habitat and viewing enjoyment from pottery.
Water Feature Category Second Prize:
Barbara Seacrest snapped a cute shot of a water critter on her begonia and it was just so cute, we had to include it in the water feature category. Good focus and interesting shot.
Interior Category 2025
Interior Category First Prize:
Paul Erlebach was so very creative in designing this plant wall in his Physical Therapy office where he needs floor space for equipment but wants the accent of plants. He told us some grow lights are being installed this week so this place should be a jungle soon. Fun and Unusual!
Interior Category Second Prize:
Maddie Samples sent in this little gem of her plant collection on the window sill. Simple is always good. We appreciate that she has purchased a great collection of pots from our indoor pottery collection.
Interior Category Third Prize:
Dave Bunde purchased one of our Suar Wood Tables ( also known as rainwood). These big slabs with rich dark heartwood and light yellow sapwood are durable and quite striking. He was able to find chairs to match for his large family gatherings. Nice Job Dave!
Front Door Category 2025 *
New Category for 2025
Front Door Category First Prize:
Sarah Hagerty is no stranger to colorful plants as she works summers at Whistle stop Nursery. She has outdone the color in her garden this year with colorful pots from the Chealsea Garden Factory and stuffed them with even more colorful plants. It was hard to choose which of her many gorgeous color shots to use!
Front Door Category Second Prize: Amanda and Brian Larsen bought our Silver Rock textured Vietnamese pottery for their entry and garage setting. The matte black glaze over the bronze underglaze brings color and the texture makes the pots so very natural. We think they were spot on with the color of their house.
Front Door Category Third Prize: Quinn Keever has come back year after year for another pot in matt black The semi classical rolled lip on this pot series can crossover from contemporary to classic styling. This collection makes a bold statement with herbs and trees and flowers by her front door,
